Supported rider

We are proud to offer our existing Granlea riding members the opportunity of being supported through our yearly program. The riders considered for this program will have aspirations to advance in the equestrian world. Priority in our selection, focus on the riders access to influence and the ability to stimulate positive opinion, rather than riding achievements on its own.

Generally, we support selected individuals by providing a wealth of benefits including tailored programs, promotional clothing and merchandise, and media promotion of the riders' talents and achievements.

Our true commitment to the supported riders is to help them grow as athletes, who in return help us. In partnership, the riders will be considered part of our team. Supported riders can also earn additional support when successfully introducing new clients to the riding centre.

Ready, Set, Trot...

The Ready Set Trot junior program aims to capture more junior horse lovers and provide a platform for education and skill development. As an Equestrian Australia (EA) and Pony Club Australia (PCA) coach, Grant is a registered provider of the Ready Set Trot program. The Ready Set Trot program has been designed to allow children who have an interest in horses but may not have access to a horse of their own or may just be starting to learn the basics, the opportunity to have fun and learn about horses in a practical environment. Granlea Riding Centre’s head coach is honoured to be delivering the horse industry's ‘Ready Set Trot’ initiative to riding school clients and delivering it to students within schools.

Ready Set Trot is made up of two main components;

Ready Set Trot Stable Skills - introduces children to the fundamentals of horsemanship and the basic elements for horse riding in a hands-on environment using fun practical games and activities.
Ready Set Trot Playground Skills - increasing horse awareness amongst children through physical activity and horse related games. This program does not require a horse, just the imagination of children and can be delivered anywhere, particularly schools!
